What is listed this week, in one paragraph
We read every airline page below on 21 October 2026, and this is what they listed. Emirates had 78 walk-in Open Days, all in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada, plus 29 invite-only events, two of them in India: Bangalore on 3 November and Kolkata marked "Recruiting now". Etihad had 11 invite-only recruitment days from 27 October to 15 December 2026, none in India or the Philippines. IndiGo had 14 cabin crew walk-ins still to come between 21 and 30 October, in Itanagar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Kochi, Delhi/NCR, Imphal, Chandigarh, Mangaluru, Agartala, Hyderabad, Gurugram and Greater Noida. Air India, Qatar Airways and Akasa showed no dated cabin crew event. Nothing on this page comes from a forum, a coaching centre or a social media post. If an event is not on an airline's own page, it is not here.
- Emirates Open Day in India: none. Invite-only in India: Bangalore (3 November, 9AM) and Kolkata ("Recruiting now", no date).
- Emirates near our readers: Dhaka 15 November, Ankara 19 November, Cairo 20 November, Istanbul 21 November, Colombo 2 December, all invite-only.
- Etihad near our readers: Amman 12 November, Bali 24 November, Abu Dhabi 26 November, Bangkok 15 December, all invite-only.
- IndiGo: 14 walk-ins left in October; registration and an online assessment come first.
- Philippines: no event on the Emirates or Etihad list.
- Every dated Emirates event on the list starts at 9AM.
Dates move. An airline can add or remove a city at any time, and none of these pages promises that a listed event will stay. Treat every row as "true on the date shown" and open the airline's page before you book a train or a flight. Links to each page are in the tables and on our official resources page.
India: every cabin crew event on an airline page
Many readers of this page are in India, so here is every Indian event in one table, sorted by date. IndiGo dominates because it publishes city-by-city walk-ins on its Inflight Services events page. Times and venues are as printed there.
| Date (2026) | Airline | City | Time and venue as listed | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 21 Oct | IndiGo | Itanagar | 8:00 am to 11:00 am, Emporium Skills Training Institute, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Vivek Vihar | Walk-in after online registration |
| 22 Oct | IndiGo | Mumbai | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thakur Institute of Aviation, Kandivali East | Walk-in after online registration |
| 22 Oct | IndiGo | Bengaluru | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Clarion by Choice Hotels, Yelahanka New Town | Walk-in after online registration |
| 23 Oct | IndiGo | Dehradun | 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, Red Fox Hotel, Rajpur Road | Walk-in after online registration |
| 23 Oct | IndiGo | Kochi | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Skywings Aviation and Logistics, NH Bypass | Walk-in after online registration |
| 25 Oct | IndiGo | Delhi/NCR | No time or venue shown on the page | Check the page again before you go |
| 26 Oct | IndiGo | Imphal | 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Emporium Skills Training, Tribal Research Institute, Chingmeirong | Walk-in after online registration |
| 26 Oct | IndiGo | Chandigarh | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Chitkara University, Chandigarh Patiala National Highway, Rajpura | Walk-in after online registration |
| 26 Oct | IndiGo | Mangaluru | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Aerodynamiks Academy, Attavar | Walk-in after online registration |
| 28 Oct | IndiGo | Agartala | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Polo Hotel, VIP Road | Walk-in after online registration |
| 29 Oct | IndiGo | Hyderabad | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, The Platinum Business Hotel, Himayatnagar | Walk-in after online registration |
| 29 Oct | IndiGo | Gurugram | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Fortune Select Global, Sector 26 | Walk-in after online registration |
| 30 Oct | IndiGo | Mumbai | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thakur Institute of Aviation, Kandivali East | Walk-in after online registration |
| 30 Oct | IndiGo | Greater Noida | 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Jettwings Institute NCR, Knowledge Park 3 | Walk-in after online registration |
| 3 Nov | Emirates | Bangalore | 9AM; no venue shown | Invite only: "Please apply online to be invited." |
| No date | Emirates | Kolkata | "Recruiting now" | Invite only: "Please apply online to be invited." |
Three things the IndiGo page says that change how you should read the list. First, at the top: "Completion of online registration and assessment is mandatory. Shortlisted candidates will receive the interview invitation." So the word "walk-in" on each row does not mean you can arrive unregistered. Second, there are two application links, one "for candidates without flying experience" and one "for candidates with flying experience"; pick the right one. Third, the page still showed eleven drives that had already happened between 13 and 20 October (Darjeeling, Jaipur, Navi Mumbai, Gurugram, Dimapur, Goa, Pune, Delhi, Guwahati, Shillong and Amritsar). That tells you the pattern: on the day we read it, IndiGo was running several cabin crew drives a week across India and the furthest date shown was nine days ahead. If your city is not on the list, it may appear at short notice, so check the page every few days rather than once a month.
Several IndiGo venues are aviation academies or hotel management institutes. The page attaches no condition to them beyond the online registration and assessment, and the drive is listed as IndiGo's own. If an academy tells you that you must enrol or pay to attend, check with IndiGo first (the contact is in the fake drives section below).
Emirates: 78 Open Days and 29 invite-only events
The Emirates cabin crew page runs two lists side by side, and the difference decides whether you can go at all. Open Day: "Walk into any of our Open Days happening all over the world. Take a moment to review the role requirements in advance and arrive at the venue on time." Invite only: "Candidates are required to complete an application online to be selected for our invitation-only recruitment events." Every dated event on both lists starts at 9AM.
Invite-only events (apply online first)
These are the events most of our readers can realistically reach. Each row says "Please apply online to be invited" unless an agency is named, in which case the page names the agency and its contact.

Three Emirates FAQ answers matter here. You can go abroad: "If you're unable to attend in your home country ... You're welcome to attend any of the ones listed!" You cannot go online: "At the moment, we're not offering online assessment days." And you can move an invitation: "If something comes up and you can't make it, just reply to your invitation email and request to meet us on another day." Emirates also listed online information sessions for the USA on 15 and 16 November; these are talks about the job, not assessments.
Should you fly to a European Open Day? (TalkDrill's reading)
Only if you already hold the visa and can afford to lose the trip. An Open Day is one attempt among a crowd of local walk-ins, and the page promises nothing beyond the day itself. For most applicants in India, Egypt or Turkey the better first move is the online application for the invite-only event in your own country, because it costs nothing and keeps the Open Day option for later. If the invitation does not come, the Open Day list is still there.
Etihad: 11 invite-only recruitment days
The Etihad cabin crew page has no walk-in route. It says: "If your application stands out, we'll invite you to one of our Cabin Crew Assessment Days. Our Recruitment team runs these invite-only Assessment Days around the world." Each event has a Register button that opens a posting on Etihad's SmartRecruiters site.
| Date (2026) | City | What the page offers |
|---|---|---|
| 27 October | Belgrade, Serbia | Register |
| 29 October | Sarajevo, Bosnia | Register |
| 1 November | Vienna, Austria | Register |
| 3 November | Brussels, Belgium | Register |
| 5 November | Amsterdam, Netherlands | Register |
| 12 November | Amman, Jordan | Register; the posting gives 9:00 AM |
| 24 November | Bali, Indonesia | Register |
| 26 November | Abu Dhabi, UAE | Register |
| 8 December | Porto, Portugal | Register |
| 10 December | Lisbon, Portugal | Register |
| 15 December | Bangkok, Thailand | Register |
What "register" means is spelt out on the Amman posting: "Meet our recruitment team in Amman and fast-track your application. We'll review your application, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet us in person." So registering is applying, and the invitation is the filter. One small mismatch to know about: the general Etihad cabin crew posting listed only nine cities on 21 October, left out Brussels and Amman, and gave different dates for two of them (Amsterdam on 3 November and Bangkok on 12 November, against 5 November and 15 December on the careers page). Go by the careers page and the individual event posting, and confirm the date in your invitation. On the day itself, per the careers page, you take part in "interactive group activities, complete aptitude and English language assessments, and join us for a final interview". Etihad also says that it "isn't affiliated with any Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant academies", while academy students are welcome to apply.
Qatar Airways, Air India and Akasa: no dated event this week
| Airline | What the page showed on 21 October 2026 | Where an event would appear |
|---|---|---|
| Qatar Airways | The cabin crew recruitment page listed essential qualifications and an Apply now button, with no events. The careers job search for "cabin crew" returned five roles in Doha (a cabin crew manager, a training officer, a rostering officer, a customer service agent pool and a product specialist), none an entry-level cabin crew post or a recruitment event. | The Qatar Airways careers job search. Plain fetchers get a 403 from the recruitment page; we read it in a browser. |
| Air India | The Cabin Crew Programme page had eligibility, the recruitment journey and an Apply Now link, but no dated drive. The careers site's Cabin Crew category said "There are currently no open positions matching this category or location." | Per the FAQ, drives "are conducted as per the business requirement and are updated on the Career page". You must apply online before any walk-in. |
| Akasa Air | The careers page lists Inflight Services among its teams, with no dated cabin crew drive in the text we read. | Akasa says: "All our job opportunities are always listed on our official website - akasaair.com and our social media channels." |
"No dated event" is not "no hiring". It means the page we read did not list one. The process pages for Emirates, Qatar and Etihad and for IndiGo, Air India and Akasa describe how each airline screens when it does hire.
How to get into each kind of event
There are three kinds of event on these pages, and each has a different first step. Getting this wrong is the most common way to waste a day.
| Event type | Before the day | On the day (as the airline describes it) | Documents the airline names |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emirates Open Day | Check the requirements on the page. No application needed. | Introduction, then "group activities and ... an online test at the venue", then a final interview. | "A valid ID for entry", plus digital copies on your phone of an "Up-to-date CV in English", an "Education certificate copy" and a "Passport copy in PDF". No passport yet: bring a photo ID such as a driving licence or national ID. |
| Emirates invite-only | Create an account and apply online. Wait for the invitation email. | As above. | As above, and keep the invitation email. |
| Etihad Assessment Day | Complete the Cabin Crew Worldwide online application, or Register on the event posting. Read Etihad's Style and Image Guidelines, which its page links before you attend. | Group activities, aptitude and English language assessments, final interview. | Not listed on the pages we read; follow the invitation. |
| IndiGo walk-in | Online registration and assessment through the correct link (with or without flying experience). Shortlisted candidates receive an invitation. | Not described on the events page. | Not listed on the events page; follow the invitation. |
| Air India drive | Apply on the careers portal. "Eligible applicants will receive an online assessment." | "Includes medical checkup and interviews." | "Come in formal attire with CV, ID, photo, and copies of 12th mark sheet, Aadhar, PAN, and Passport/application." |
Before any of these, check that you meet the published requirements; it takes five minutes and saves a journey. The age, height, reach and education rows for each airline, with the date we read them, are on the requirements page. What happens hour by hour once you are inside is on the assessment day stages page.
Fake drives and fees: how to check an event is real
Every airline we read warns about recruitment fraud, and the warnings are specific enough to use as a checklist.
| Airline | What its page says |
|---|---|
| Emirates | "Any job offer, seemingly from the Emirates Group, that asks you for money is fraudulent." It "will never ask for advance payment from you towards travel expenses or visas/work permits". Official email comes "only from official Emirates Group email addresses (e.g., @emirates.com/@dnata.com)"; approaches through WhatsApp or Gmail-type accounts are "likely fraudulent". Source: the Emirates recruitment fraud page. |
| Etihad | "We will never ask for personal information, bank details, or payment during the recruitment process ... If you are asked for money, please treat it as fraudulent." |
| IndiGo | People "misusing the brand name 'IndiGo,' and the names of our employees" are "demanding money in exchange for interviews or jobs". Report to eco@goIndiGo.in. |
| Air India | "Air India does not charge any fees for job applications or interviews." |
| Akasa Air | "We do not charge fees or deposits from job seekers." "We do not collect fees from individuals or educational institutions for participation in recruitment drives." Report to jobverification@akasaair.com. |
Our five-step check before you travel to any drive: find the event on the airline's own page (not a poster, not a WhatsApp forward); match the city, date and venue; if an agency is involved, check that the airline's page names that agency for that event, as Emirates does for its Portugal, China, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus events; pay nobody; and keep a screenshot of the listing with the date you saw it.
How this page is kept current
We re-read the Emirates, Etihad, IndiGo, Air India, Qatar Airways and Akasa pages every week and update the tables and the read date together. The rules we follow: an event appears here only if we read it on the airline's own page; every row carries the date we read it; a past event is removed at the next update; and a city "expected" on social media is not listed until the airline lists it. We do not predict dates. If an airline has not listed an event in your city, the honest answer is that it has not been announced, and the page to watch is linked in the tables above.
Two patterns are visible in our reads and worth planning around. Emirates and Etihad publish weeks ahead: on 21 October the Emirates list ran to 13 December and the Etihad list to 15 December. IndiGo publishes days ahead: the furthest IndiGo date was 30 October. So for the Gulf carriers, apply now for an event a month away; for IndiGo, keep your documents ready and check the page twice a week.
The week before an event: a speaking route
The airlines' requirements all come back to one line: Emirates and Etihad ask for candidates "fluent in written and spoken English", Qatar Airways lists "Fluent in written and spoken English", and Air India asks for "excellent communication skills in Hindi and English". The written part is tested once; the spoken part is judged all day. Here is how we would use the seven days before an event.
| Day | Task (20 to 30 minutes) | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | One timed written set, then fix the wrong answers. | English test practice |
| 2 | Ten small-talk openers for the queue, said aloud; two announcements read aloud for pace. | Spoken English and announcements and read-aloud practice |
| 3 | One group task with AI participants: build on a point, disagree politely, summarise. | AI group discussion; topics on the group exercise page |
| 4 | Three STAR stories (difficult customer, teamwork, a mistake) told aloud in two minutes each. | Cabin crew interview questions in English |
| 5 | A full mock interview with the airline's own "why us" facts. | AI mock interview and the questions by airline |
| 6 | Documents as PDFs on your phone, route to a 9AM start, outfit checked against the airline's guidance. | Assessment day stages |
| 7 | Rest. One short read-aloud to warm your voice, nothing new. | Read-aloud |
If the day does not go your way, the results and reapplying page covers what the airlines publish about trying again (Emirates says six months), and the cabin crew English hub has the full 21-day plan.
