AI mock interviews for every student in a placement batch
With TalkDrill, every student can sit a full mock interview with an AI interviewer, including one built from a job description they paste, and get a scored report on their answers, the filler words they leaned on, their speaking pace and the three fixes that would help most. The batch also gets a six-minute recruiter phone screen and a Story Bank that turns each student’s own experiences into STAR answers.
The interview practice students get
AI mock interviews, with a scored report
A full interview with an AI interviewer — including one built from a pasted job description — then a report they can act on: an overall score, the filler words they leaned on, their speaking pace, and the three fixes that would move the needle most.
Telephonic screens and a Story Bank
A six-minute, six-question recruiter phone screen on a deliberately poor line. And a Story Bank that turns six guided prompts into true STAR stories in the student’s own words — interview questions are then built from those stories.
Feedback that teaches, and Hindi-first answering
Interview, roleplay and writing reports name one strength, one change quoting the student’s own words, a two-minute drill and a retry with a before and after. In guided practice a student can answer in Hindi or Hinglish first; the coach asks again in English and scores only the English answer.
Roleplay, writing and pronunciation, all scored
AI roleplay at a difficulty you set, from a viva to a salary conversation. Emails and essays scored on task response, organisation, grammar, vocabulary, mechanics and tone. And every spoken session scored on pronunciation and fluency.
What a mock-interview report contains
An overall score
One number for the interview, so a student can compare this attempt with the last.
Filler words and pace
The filler words they leaned on and how fast they spoke.
Three fixes
The three changes that would move the score most, rather than a list of everything.
A drill and a retry
One strength, one change quoting the student’s own words, a two-minute drill and a retry with a before and after.
Where faculty and seniors come in
Assignments, a Monday co-pilot and pacing
Faculty set interview, roleplay, writing or lesson work as guided or independent practice, see the AI score and can override it with a reason. Every Monday a co-pilot drafts one assignment per batch from its weakest skills, and faculty choose whether work opens all at once or one step at a time.
Seniors as interviewers
Flag placed seniors and they can run their company’s mock round for juniors. The AI scores the junior and the senior’s listening, and the questions seniors recall go into a question bank only your college sees, once staff approve them.
Practice slots and lab days
Book a whole batch into level-matched pairs or five-person GDs with task cards, or start a live GD or mock-interview day in the lab. Attendance comes from actual time in the room, never from a tap.
